Big red racing game

This was a huge part of my child hood. Such a fun game, I'd love to play it again. This was so much fun in multiplayer, back in the old days of LAN parties. I'd love to play it again. I really enjoyed the game, playing it in a computer store as a little kid for hours, until the staff asked me to move aside because a customer needed to look at the computer Can't really decide what made it so great, but this game rocks. I remember literally pissing my pants when at first playing the demo Japan track, where a sharp curve on a hilltop sent me tumbling down the other side of the hill, bouncing upside down on my characters still seated HEAD.

Onto the courses then, of which there are 24 - and they're massive. And they undulate like nobody's business. There are deserts, rocky highlands - you name it. Furthermore, you can drive or fly absolutely anywhere you want, which can and frequently does result in you getting completely lost.
