The stage is now set to add some data to the chart. Once the library is loaded, we will add data by creating a DataTable object. This object will hold the necessary data for making the graph. At the beginning of this function, I have defined the options object it comes with the API.
In the example above, I have also added a title property to my graph that says Monthly sale of Books. The options method take other parameters too. We can further customize our graph by defining different font size, color of the text, width, height etc.
Be careful when defining the values for the options properties, else it will throw an error. If you have mistakenly set the value as ' ' instead of [' '] the braces , then it will thrown an error, saying the color code in invalid.
It catches and displays errors if any on the page, during design time itself. However, I can manage the size of the graph by declaring the values using the options method itself. This is one option we all will be more interested in while designing our graphs. We can now display the graph in a three dimensional PieChart. It takes a Boolean value that is true or false. Note : Remember the D in 3D is case sensitive. Therefore, you cannot write it as 3d.
The method takes a parameter in the form of two-dimensional array 2D and converts it into a DataTable. In our example, we have two columns Month and Sales Figure with many rows in it. Google Visualization API provides various methods for various chart types that we can use in our web page. CONS: Although free, it is not entirely free for some of the features you want to use. CONS: Although the tool offers reliable analytics and presentable functionalities, I do not know how long Google will keep it around. This is because, there was the Image Charts which had better functionality as compared to the current version, Google Chart Tools, but Google scrapped it off in This was a disappointing move as the Image Charts were a better pick and most users were used to what it had to offer.
It would be better if they brought back the previous version or integrate it with the current version to offer the best of the two worlds.
Since the software is compatible with multiple platforms, I can use the tool to edit and make changes without having to worry about the compatibility of the platform. Google Chart Tools aim in making the work easier.

In short, I got better than what I bargained for. CONS: Although the tool offers reliable features for me to use and work with, the gallery does not have charts. When I first decided to use the tool, I thought that it would have multiple charts in its gallery for me to choose and use them to make presentations using those charts.
However, I did not find that bearing in mind that Google is a reputable company. It would be better if they provided a wide range of charts in their gallery to help users be creative and customize their presentations the way they want while adding creativity to it.
